Ben-Gvir’s Gaffe Jeopardizes the Settlement Enterprise Danny Ayalon, Israel Hayom, Aug. 27, 2023 — The right to life is a supreme value and trumps even the right to have freedom of movement. It should be obvious to everyone that this distinction has nothing to do with religion, ethnicity, race, gender, or any other human trait. There should be a distinction, though, between innocent law-abiding civilians and murderous terrorists. 

Spotlight on Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (August 16 –22, 2023): The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center — This past week Palestinians carried out four shooting attacks, two of them deadly, in which three Israelis were killed: a woman was shot to death south of Mount Hebron, and a father and son were gunned down in Hawwara (south of Nablus). Palestinians also shot at an industrial area west of Jenin and at an IDF position in the Nablus area; no casualties were reported.
