CAIR AT WORK

The Hamas Network in America: A Short History:  Lorenzo Vidino, Program on Extremism at George Washington University, October 2023 — Hamas supporters have long operated in the United States. Internal Hamas documents and FBI wiretaps introduced as evidence in various federal criminal cases clearly show the existence of a nationwide Hamas network engaged in fundraising, lobbying, education and propaganda dissemination dating back to the 1980s.

Executive Summary Review of FBI Interactions with the Council on American Islamic Relations September 2013:  US Dept of Justice — In March 2012, after receiving a congressional request, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) initiated a review to examine the clarity of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) policy and guidance for its non-investigative interactions with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and FBI field office compliance with the policy and guidance.

CAIR Not Only Inspires Terrorists. It’s Historically Linked to Them | Opinion: Rabbi Yaakov Menken, Newsweek, Jan. 23, 2022 — A recent report from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), “Islamophobia in the Mainstream,” is a case study in projection—the psychological process of attributing one’s own defects to others. In this case, the defect is hate, and the target is an all-too familiar one: the Jewish people and their allies.
