Sorcha is the Managing Editor for this issue of Dateline: Middle East and is a Queens University student studying Sociology and Criminology with ambitions to attend Law School after graduation. Sorcha previously studied Police foundations at St. Lawrence College and volunteered with the Kingston police. Sorcha's academic pursuits, combined with her hands-on involvement with community service and Law enforcement, have given her a unique perspective on the intersections of societal structures, crime, and justice. Sorcha is very interested in the protection and rights of Jewish people and, particularly, the safety of Jewish students on campuses across Canada.
As families and friends gathered at the Passover Seder(s), they were reminded of their ancestors' profound journey of suffering, resilience, perseverance, and the unyielding pursuit and quest for freedom and self-determination in their ancestral Jewish homeland.
