“I came home from that trip … determined to stand with my friends in Israel, and not long after that, I joined with Bnai Brith Canada and the Canada Israel Committee, now CIJA, and we launched a full-scale campaign to criminalize Hezbollah, which up until that time was completely legal in Canada.
“And the Jewish people have stood with me in my journey through politics. Some of my best friends and greatest advisers, including our very own Deputy leader Melissa Landsman now helps me lead the charge in Parliament for our shared values. Many times, our focus is on domestic cutting the taxes building the homes fixing the budget stopping crime.
